What is Planet Zoo 2
Planet Zoo 2 is Frontier Developments' zoo management sequel, launching October 13, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. For the first time in the series it features fully aquatic animals in customizable aquariums and flying birds in walk-through aviaries.
It also adds Wildlife Reserves — restore damaged environments and release animals back into the wild. The official Zoopedia already lists 100+ species, revealed weekly until launch.
