Standard vs Deluxe
| Standard ($49.99) | Deluxe ($64.99) | |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | ✓ | ✓ |
| 6 exclusive animal species | — | ✓ |
| Exclusive animal signs | — | ✓ |
Is Deluxe worth it?
- $15 for 6 species — roughly $2.50 per animal, cheaper than typical DLC per-species pricing in Planet Zoo 1
- The six Deluxe species are exclusive — not obtainable otherwise
- If you plan to build aquariums/aviaries heavily, one Deluxe species per new system makes it feel significant
- Planet Zoo 1's Deluxe packs never became free — expect the same
The six Deluxe animals
All six Deluxe species are confirmed from the official Zoopedia:
| Animal | Type |
|---|---|
| Golden Eagle | Flying (aviary) |
| Golden Lion Tamarin | Habitat |
| Great Hammerhead Shark | Aquatic (aquarium) |
| Axolotl | Aquatic (aquarium) |
| Blue and Gold Fusilier | Aquatic (aquarium) |
| Longfin Batfish | Aquatic (aquarium) |
Four of the six are aquatic — the Deluxe Edition is weighted toward the new aquarium system.
