Planet Zoo 2 Franchise Guide — Planet Hub & Animal Trading

Planet Zoo 2 franchise mode and Planet Hub

Franchise Guide

Quick answer: Planet Zoo 2's connected mode ties your zoos and Wildlife Reserves together through the Planet Hub, which handles trading, storage and research. Update 1.0.4 (October 14) increased the Franchise mode's initial animal trade volume and improved its stability.

What's confirmed

  • Planet Hub manages your cross-region zoos and Wildlife Reserves
  • Planet Hub handles three functions: trading, storage and research
  • Franchise is the connected / online progression mode — multiple zoos and reserves under one operation

Animal trading

Trading is a confirmed Planet Hub function — trade animals between your own zoos and reserves. Update 1.0.4 (October 14) increased the initial animal trade volume in Franchise mode and fixed stability issues; the full trading economy (exact pricing and any conservation-credit equivalent) is still not published by Frontier.

Still unpublished

The full trading economy — exact pricing, any conservation-credit equivalent, and a defensible "best starting animal" roster — is still not published by Frontier. Update 1.0.4 raised the initial trade volume, but that is a volume adjustment, not a published price list.
